How to care for patent leather?
Share

Patent leather is made of real leather coated in plastic, varnish or lacquer to make it shine! The coating is often 0.15 millimeters or thinner in thickness, but does not take away from the beauty of the leather underneath. This coating makes most patent leathers virtually water proof, and very easy to clean and maintain.
To use, spray lightly on the surface of the shoe and wipe gently with a clean Walter’s Premium Shoe Shine Cloth using a circular motion until dirt and stains are removed. Once the surface of the shoe is dry, quickly buff with a clean dry portion of the cloth for maximum shine.

Our versatile 3-in-1 Synthetic Spray & Shine cleans, shines and conditions patent leather, vinyl, polyethylene and other synthetic materials. It is a non-hazardous water-based cleaner that protects the material and acts as a water repellent.
